The Thule BackSpace XT box is the ideal solution for those with a tow bar mounted Thule Velospace XT bike carrier already, looking for a solution for more luggage capacity on some trips. The lightweight BackSpace fits straight over the top of where you would normally mount your bikes utilising the ratchet buckle normally used to secure your wheels, this turns your tow ball mounted bike rack into a spacious rear mounted cargo box.
Retaining the 'tilt' function to allow for access into the vehicle's boot as well as with a BackSpace XT bike arm allowing you to still carry 1 bike on the outside of the BackSpace XT box.
Thanks to its hard bottom and lightweight structure, the BackSpace XT is foldable which makes it much smaller and easier to store.
Please Note: The Thule BackSpace XT requires the Thule Velospace XT Tow Bar Mounted Bike Carrier to work.
